Arunachal Pradesh: Month-long expedition of team NIMAS successfully completed, sets National Record The expedition by NIMAS was led by Colonel Sarfraz Singh which had begun on November 22 and completed seven phases of Arunachal river rafting on December 23.   |  24 Dec 2020 11:58 AM GMT Itanagar: Team of National Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports (NIMAS) has successfully completed their month-long expedition on December 23, covering all the major seven rivers of Arunachal Pradesh. The team was led by Colonel Sarfraz Singh. The expedition had begun on November 22 and is comprised of 10 local youths of the state and 15 army personnel from NIMAS. The aim of the expedition was to explore parts of Arunachal Pradesh thought the tributaries of Brahmaputra and to promote adventure tourism in the state.
