England s GPs are fighting to reduced their hours to 9am to 5pm in a move that campaigners say is insensitive and senior family doctor says is at odds with the profession s principles.
Family doctors, who earn £111,900 a year on average, will now lobby the NHS to change core opening hours in general practice from the current 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
