April 19, 2021 ALAMEDA, Calif. - Civil rights attorneys have filed a claim against the city of Alameda saying that Mario Gonzalez died in custody because he was restrained by police officers, the second type of restraint death in three years. Filed by attorney Julia Sherwin on behalf of the Gonzalez family, the claim states that although the 26-year-old out-of-work cook, appeared to be confused and possibly intoxicated, he was not a threat to himself or anyone else. And, the claim continues, police had no reason to detain him without reasonable suspicion or other legal cause, and he was not engaged in any crime.

SUMMARY Patrick Henry was a lawyer, orator, and statesman whose career spanned the founding of the United States. An early critic of British authority and leader in the movement toward independence, Henry dedicated most of his life to Virginia politics. He served as a member of the House of Burgesses (1765–1774), as the first governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia (1776–1779), as a member of the House of Delegates (1779–1784; 1788–1791), and again as governor (1784–1786). He was a founding member of the Virginia Committee of Correspondence (1773) and a delegate to the First and Second Continental Congresses (1774–1776). He also attended the Virginia Conventions of 1774, March 1775, July–August 1775, May 1776, and 1788. Walmart is partnering with So Yummy, the maker of viral food content videos, on shoppable recipes. This is Walmart s latest foray into next-gen e-commerce strategies, including livestream shopping. So Yummy earns 350 million monthly video views on social media, and broadcasts to 40 million homes. Walmart is teaming up with So Yummy, a media brand behind a slew of viral online food videos, to create shoppable content. So Yummy, a subsidiary of First Media, will air 10 episodes of a new reality show called Unbox d beginning on May 17 alongside the retail giant. The program will feature social media food influencers competing to cook up the best dish using pre-determined ingredients.
