Catholic school students get world-class education at Culture Fair
Students from St. Mary’s Grade School and Sacred Heart High traveled to Cuba and Japan before competing in the Olympics on Wednesday. Classes participated in the third edition of the annual Culture Fair, led by the Culture Club’s Jack Elmore and Sara Dell-Real.
The club worked together to use ideas that would teach the other students and present them in a fun and engaging manner.
“I think we don’t celebrate other people s cultures enough,” Elmore said. “It’s important to remember our own paths, where we come from, and especially where our neighbors and friends come from.”
