The Round Rock City Council on Thursday night approved $84.7 million in debt to pay for road improvements, a convention center and public infrastructure at Kalahari Resorts.  City officials said the five debt issuances will be backed by property taxes that were rated AAA the highest rate possible by S&P Global.  Our excellent bond ratings mean we can borrow these critical funds at the lowest possible cost, said Mayor Craig Morgan. The money we re investing in infrastructure and major economic development partnerships will have an even greater return because of the city s outstanding financial stewardship.
