Following the Government’s decision to delay the further easing of Covid-19 restrictions until 19 July, I would like to encourage everyone over the age of 16 to take rapid Covid-19 tests twice a week. Regular testing helps stop the virus from spreading by identifying cases among people who do not have symptoms and could unknowingly be spreading it. Our Director of Public Health, Sara Blackmore, advises that there are three key things we can all do to help reach the next stage of easing as soon as possible:
