RE:            Update 42 – New  Work Safe Additions to the Be Smart, Stay Safe Order As Vermont continues its work to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, reduce the spread of the virus, keep Vermonters working, and keep our children in school, our mitigation strategy is constantly evolving. To that end, the following is required of all Vermonters, visitors, and businesses per the Governor’s Executive Order: Critical Updates - Effective until further notice. All multi-household social gatherings indoors and outdoors in public and private spaces are prohibited. This includes all public and private gatherings including but not limited to household gatherings, parties, weddings, events, etc. Review section 4.1 of this memo for additional information about limited permissible multi-household outdoor recreation.

Sun, 12/27/2020 - 10:47am tim Vermont Business Magazine On December 22, Governor Phil Scott announced a small, temporary modification to restrictions on multi-household gatherings during the holidays. Between December 23rd and January 2nd, households may gather with one other trusted household. See detail below. Governor Scott also announced youth sports may resume with no-contact practices. Effective December 26th, school-based and youth recreational programs may begin practices with individual skills, strength and conditioning. The Agency of Education has released full guidance for school-based sports. Vermonters may resume outdoor activities like sledding, snowmobiling and skiing with those outside of their household, as long as physical distancing, masking and other precautions are observed.
