BROCKTON Two men accused of robbing the Santander Bank on Torrey Street in Brockton on Tuesday morning broke into a home while fleeing from police and forced a resident to wash the clothes they allegedly wore during the incident, prosecutors said.
Samuel Gervais, 24, whose last known address was in Stoughton, and Jennifer Rosil Dorlus, 34, with a most recent address in Brockton, were arraigned together in Brockton District Court on Wednesday, with not guilty pleas entered on their behalf by their attorneys, James Hester and Kate Welch.
Judge Michael Vitali ordered both held without bail.
Prosecutors said the incident began about 10:04 a.m. Tuesday, when police received a report of an armed robbery at the Santander Bank at 25 Torrey St.
Driver suffers life-threatening injuries in collision on Route 28 in West Bridgewater
A driver was critically injured in a head-on collision on Route 28 in West Bridgewater early Thursday afternoon, officials said. Police and firefighters responded to the crash in the area of 710 N. Main St. about 12:25 p.m. Crews were met with a two-car motor vehicle crash, Fire Chief Lincoln Thibeault said. One patient was trapped in the vehicle with life-threatening injuries. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life hydraulic extrication tool to remove the trapped driver from the vehicle, he said.
