Driver suffers life-threatening injuries in collision on Route 28 in West Bridgewater
A driver was critically injured in a head-on collision on Route 28 in West Bridgewater early Thursday afternoon, officials said. Police and firefighters responded to the crash in the area of 710 N. Main St. about 12:25 p.m. "Crews were met with a two-car motor vehicle crash," Fire Chief Lincoln Thibeault said. "One patient was trapped in the vehicle with life-threatening injuries." Firefighters used the Jaws of Life hydraulic extrication tool to remove the trapped driver from the vehicle, he said.
