Next step, the family and Childrens Hospital oakland will have a hearing in front of a judge scheduled for this afternoon. That judge will decide if the family can keep the 13yearold, jahi mcmath, on a ventilator. She suffered a cardiac arrest after tonsil surgery last week. Doctors have said that she has no brain activity. Here is what the family wants right now. These are basically trying to get orders for the good and welfare of the child. That includes restraining order to prevent them from pulling the plug on the ventilator. To have them put in the tubes, to allow an independent physician to come in and country an examination.
