And two, for those who feel a keen sense of community connection, there are numerous ways to share time and treasure this holiday season, helping Houstonians in need.

Updated: 6:22 PM EST Dec 13, 2020 Santa and Mrs. Claus got an early start on visiting families this year, starting this weekend in Howard County.They went door to door to safely wish a Merry Christmas to everyone during the coronavirus pandemic.Ellicott City-based nonprofit Blossoms of Hope made the visits possible thanks to their Santa Project. The spirit of Christmas is alive, the spirit of loving your neighbors, loving your family and giving is more important than receiving, Santa said. I think it has been extra special to see all the children. They re so excited, they re so happy to share what they want for Christmas, and they believe, Mrs. Claus said.Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit more families next weekend.

âItâs part of the Sheriff s Santa Project,â Conrad said.
