Caltrans will use the money to create development of service plans for two rail corridors in the Santa Cruz County and Central Coast area, which will then later facilitate prioritization of funding for projects within the corridors.

The open house, happening from 6-7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Rio Sand Hotel in Aptos at 116 Aptos Beach Drive, will include information about design inspiration and illustrations for some of the aesthetic concepts as well as an overall project update.
