Reporter ken and liz, the man accused of killing kate stiley worked out of the jail behind me near the hall of justice. By city law, he was free to go after his drug charges were dropped. Francisco sanchez was put in jail for drugs. Five deportations to mexico. Seven felony convictions. He served his time, but federal immigration officials abouted him back in their custody. The city didnt notify them if think got out of jail. I say that courts ruled there is no legal basis to hold him. Reporter that is because San Francisco is a sanctuary city. Investigation as Police Search for a motive. Reporter as the murder mystery played out at the Extended Stay Hotel in fremont, hotel guests were left looking for answers. Reporter only using his first name, robby, a contractor from out of state said the Hotel Released Little Information after a 48yearold shooting victim wandered into the lobby late saturday night around 11 35 p. M. Someone in the hotel called 911. Multiple officers responded, they actually located the victim, they confirmed the victim had a gunshot wound and began immediate medical attention on the victim. The victim was transported to a local trauma center, unfortunately the victim did end up succumbing to his injuries.
