This is according to the new york times, which is citing current and former Homeland Security officials. The operation was originally planned for last month but was postponed. Now the raids are expected to mainly target families with final orders of deportation. At least 2,000 immigrants in all. Theyll take place in several cities including San Francisco. Jose. This crash happened just after 11 this morning, but after more than five hours, one lane remains closed this afternoon after a red honda crashed into that big rig. The driver of the honda was killed and 100 gallons of fuel also spilled on the roadway. Making this cleanup take a long time. Now lets give you a look at the traffic map. So if youre heading out of town, its best to take 85 to the south, right now, the chp isnt giving an exact timeline for when all lanes will reopen, but say it could be hours. Topfirefighters went to putting it out quickly but more manpower was neededa second alarm was called to fight the firetime was of the essence. we had a number of fire engines here from all over marin countyincluding a full wildland fire response that brings in specialized units to assist. After about 30 minutes the fire was under controlbut, witnesses say they saw a group of young people running away from the fire when it first startedfire Officials Say they may be responsible for setting the fire.
