Muscat: A research grant offered by Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) saw the participation of many projects, of which six emerged as winner.
The grant, which deals with nanotechnology projects and research papers from the Centre of Communication and Information, comes within the context of contacts between Sultan Qaboos University and Omantel and it is considered one of the components of Oman Vision 2040 in the field of scientific research.
The three winning nanotechnology research projects were presented by Dr. Mohammed Al Abri, Dr. Sankit Joshi and Dr. Mohammed Othman.
The three winning research projects of the Centre of Communication and Information were presented by Dr. Dhiya Nader, Dr. Nasser Al Tarahwi and Dr. Khalid Al Rassadi.
