Raut has accused Bhuse of indulging in corruption of Rs 178 crore in Girna co-operative sugar factory located at Malegaon in Nashik district. The allegation had prompted Bhuse to file a defamation case against Raut.
Single-judge Justice NR Borkar sat today, a non-working day, and heard Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh, who argued on behalf of ED, against the Sessions Court order granting bail to Raut.
Sanjay Raut got bail from the court after being in custody since July 31 for the Patra Chawl scam case. He was arrested by Enforcement Directorate under money laundering case.
