Our Correspondent Imphal, Nov. 1 (EMN): Chavang Kut, a post harvest festival of the Kuki-Chin-Mizo community was celebrated across Manipur on Tuesday. The state level festival was celebrated on the theme ‘Unity through culture’ at Tuibong in Manipur’s Churachandpur district. Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 6 EMN): Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh, on Tuesday chaired a meeting with MLAs from the hill districts in connection with the finalisation of the traditional huts of all tribes to be constructed at the Sangao Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou area in Bishnupur district. Confirming this by sharing photographs of the meeting in a tweet on Tuesday, Singh wrote, “Held a meeting with the Hon’ble MLAs of the hill districts to finalise the design of the traditional huts of all the tribes of Manipur which has to be constructed at the Sangai Ethnic Park. We were also joined by senior govt. officials and subject experts.” Almost all the MLAs from the assembly constituencies of hill districts were present during the day’s meeting.
