Anne-Marie Mastraccio will succeed Mayor Tom Cote as the city s top elected official Jan. 1.
Cote is wrapping up seven years – three consecutive terms – at the helm of the community and is passing the baton to his successor, who will become only the second popularly elected mayor since Sanford officially became a city in 2013.
