Here s a look at the original feature articles and columns published by New Jersey Stage from July 1 to July 31, 2022. In addition to these stories, we publish between 50-60 press releases during the week. This was a busy month for us with over 80 features or columns published in July.

Community Bulletin Board: Criterion Sentinel (for July 14)   Middlesex College will host a two-hour in-person Continuing Education Open House at its centrally-located campus in Edison on July 15 from 6-8 p.m. Park in lot 11.  Held outdoors under tents, the open house will give prospective students and visitors the opportunity to learn more about the wide array of noncredit courses that make up Continuing Education programs at Middlesex College, including allied health, English as a second language, business and personal development, as well as information about enrollment and related career outcomes.   Middlesex College’s Continuing Education instructors will be on hand to describe the many programs, answer questions and help participants register for the fall semester.

Community Bulletin Board: Criterion Sentinel (for June 30)   A fireworks display will be held July 2 at Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge. Gates to the park open at 4 p.m. Officials will present Killed-In-Action flags to families who lost a loved one from Woodbridge in any wars in the past. Call the Recreation Department at 732-596-4048 to register someone. The ceremony should begin at 7:30 p.m. The Nerds will perform after the fireworks. “Bringing the Night to Life” fireworks will be presented by Pyrotecnico Fireworks at around 9:30 p.m. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are encouraged. There is no reserved seating.
