Alcohol was a factor in a single-vehicle rollover that injured three people Friday, April 23 in Hart Lake Township.
According to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, at 5:03 a.m. a witness reported seeing three people crawl out of a badly damaged vehicle that had rolled in a swamp.
Deputies arrived at the intersection of County Roads 45 and 39 to find three injured people standing on the roadway. North Memorial and Cass Lake ambulances arrived on scene and provided medical help to the victims.

2 dead, 2 injured in separate fatal crashes in Minnesota
The State Patrol is investigating a head-on crash involving a driver who was passing another vehicle.

A single-vehicle crash in Crow Wing County and a two-vehicle wreck in Cass County on Monday resulted in two deaths and one person with life-threatening injuries.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at approximately 1:50 p.m. the driver of a Chevy Silverado truck was speeding eastbound on Highway 200 in Turtle Lake Township when he passed another vehicle and collided head-on with a westbound Hyundai Tucson.
The driver of the Hyundai, identified as Virginia Marie Stewart, 53, of Longville, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene.
One dead after ATV falls through ice on Kabekona Lake
A side-by-side passenger was pronounced dead after a side-by-side broke through the ice and submerged in 18 feet of water on Kabekona Lake.

One person died and another was hospitalized after a side-by-side ATV fell through the ice Saturday in Lakeport Township.
According to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was reported at 6:18 p.m. on Dec. 26. The caller said his mother, father and sister had gone underwater when the side-by-side submerged. Though he pulled all three victims out of the water and began CPR on his mother, the caller said she was unresponsive.
