PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. New data from the BC Northern Real Estate Board shows the housing market in Northwest BC continues to remain hot. Property sales in the first half of 2020 in Northwest B.C. dipped from 2019’s numbers as the pandemic took hold. However, home sales in many northwest municipalities shot back up and exceeded 2019’s numbers in the first half of 2021.
