Idaho Gives is a statewide collaboration that helps raise critically needed funds for the state's nonprofits. Created and run by the Idaho Nonprofit Center, the annual event began April 29 and runs through 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 2.
Dannette Carnegie wasn’t sure what the future of the Cottage Market would look like this year, but when those in her community insisted that it was an asset to the area, she took action.
The Sandpoint Teen Center is expanding, now offering a space for children on the Sandpoint Middle School campus as well as at its original location at First Lutheran Church.
With a safe location in hand for the community's youth to gather, the Sandpoint Teen Center is ready to celebrate.
"We want the community to know we were very encouraged by all the support helping us look for a youth center in Sandpoint," Kate Mansur said. "We had many businesses, volunteer groups and individuals searching and offering labor and materials if we found a home."
