After recent political turbulence and with 18 ministers taking oath recently in Maharashtra, the western state s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday announced the allocation of portfolios to newly appointed ministers in the state cabinet with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra bagging major roles and ministries.
The opposition, as well as BJP leader Chitra Wagh, slammed Shinde for inclusion of Sanjay Rathod who had to resign from the MVA government due to charges in connection with Pune-based woman’s death.
The wait is finally over, as Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who has been running a two-man government with his deputy Devendra Fadnavis since June 30, will expand his cabinet on Tuesday.
