PANCHTHAR, June 19: The team of the Nepal Army (NA) has rescued 12 people who were trapped due to flood and landslides in Panchthar following incessant rain. A total of 12 people from three houses, who were trapped since Sunday night, were rescued this morning with the help of a helicopter belonging to the NA.
A 23-year-old tourist from Telangana along with her guide was killed in North Sikkim on Friday after they lost balance while paragliding and fell into a river, police said.
