Comedian and “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah is teaming up with Paramount to develop a remake of 1967’s “The President’s Analyst” as a potential star vehicle for Noah, according to an individual with knowledge of the project.
Pat Cunnane, who served as President Barack Obama’s Senior Writer and Deputy Director of Messaging at the White House, wrote the script, described as a re-examination of the 1967 satire through the lens of the contemporary political landscape.

Nothing has been revealed about the film other than that it’s based on an original idea of Noah’s, and will be “timely, poignant, and comedic.” The script will be written by Jonathan Groff (the
Black-ish writer, not the
Modern Family).
Noah will produce through his Day Zero Productions banner, alongside president of production Haroon Saleem. Norman Aladjem, Derek Van Pelt, and Sanaz Yamin of Mainstay Entertainment are also producing.

Washington [US], January 28 (ANI): Famous comedian and TV host Trevor Noah is now branching out into animation with his Viacom family for his next creative endeavour.
According to Variety, the untitled project with Paramount Animation is based on an original idea from Noah. Though the plot is under wraps, for now, it is said to be timely, poignant, and comedic. Jonathan Groff of Black-ish and Jon Pollack from Modern Family are set to write the script.
Noah will produce the film via his Day Zero Productions, with his president of production Haroon Saleem. Norman Aladjem, Derek Van Pelt, and Sanaz Yamin will also serve as producers via Mainstay Entertainment.
