Man accused of shooting girlfriend in face arrested in Oregon, San Joaquin Sheriff says San Joaquin County deputies said Kevin Gerolaga was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop in Curry County, Oregon. Author: Eric Escalante Updated: 4:38 PM PDT May 9, 2021 SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in the face was arrested in Curry County, Oregon. On Saturday, the San Joaquin County Sheriff s Office said 34-year-old Kevin Gerolaga was brought into custody after fleeing from a traffic stop in Oregon. Gerolaga had an active warrant for his arrest on attempted murder charges. According to a Facebook post from the sheriff s office, Gerolaga is accused of shooting his girlfriend in the face during an argument early in the morning on April 21.

Suspicious devices prompt evacuations near Tracy

Author: Matthew Nuttle, Alanea Cremen Published: 6:32 PM PDT May 3, 2021 Updated: 11:20 PM PDT May 3, 2021 TRACY, Calif. 9 p.m. Update: Several explosive devices have been found near businesses west of Tracy, according to the San Joaquin Sheriff s Office.  In a tweet, the sheriff s office said the devices were located and deputies then began searching the suspect s vehicle.  Deputies have since reopened the roadway after the area was rendered safe.
