A minor spring storm was expected to move on from San Diego County Sunday night after bringing more showers and possible thunderstorms to the area, forecasters said.

More heavy rain and flooding is forecast to hit California this week. In anticipation of the upcoming winter storm, the governor of California has deployed thousands of boots on the ground and has updated the state of emergency proclamation in San Diego and Ventura counties to include five additional counties across the state.
San Diego County residents can count on another very wet stretch next week. Just how wet and precisely when and whether more flooding is in store has yet to be determined.
