One San Antonio doctor is taking matters into her own hands to address the lack of healthcare services on the city’s South Side.
Dr. Lyssa Ochoa and healthcare administrator Carl Negley want to improve South Side residents’ access to healthcare. With many having to go to the Medical Center, Stone Oak area, or downtown just for basic procedures and services, the pair decided to give the underserved community a better option: a surgery center in their own part of town.
