Metso Outotec announces key executive appointments DUBAI, 4 days ago Metso Outotec, a mining engineering company headquartered in Finland, has announced two major appointments - Markku Teräsvasara as the new President (Minerals) and Sami Takaluoma as President (Services) - in its executive team with immediate effect.    An industry veteran, Teräsvasara was earlier the president for services business area. He replaces Stephan Kirsch, who is leaving the organisation for personal reasons. In addition to being the President (Minerals), Teräsvasara will also continue as Deputy CEO of the company.   Heikki Metsälä will now replace him.    Previously Metsälä served as SVP, Mill & Chute lining business line in the consumables business area management team.
