The Moneyfacts Travel Insurance Star Ratings 2021 independently analyses all the travel insurance products on the market to determine which will be awarded its five and four-star rating. Despite the pandemic’s impact on the travel industry, this year saw an increase in the number of annual and single policies assessed, rising from 649 to 862.
This increase has resulted in a 61% increase in the number of deals awarded a five-star rating and a 42% increase in the number awarded a four-star rating.
Samantha Owens has announced her candidacy for Pulaski County Clerk.
Samantha Owens, chief deputy for the Pulaski County Clerk s Office, has announced her bid to run for the county clerk s position in 2022.
Better known as Sam, Owens has been with the office for 14 years come July. While it s her first campaign, the Republican candidate is up to the challenge with several encouraging her to run as well as having the support of her family and friends. I started at the clerk s office when I was 21 years old, she recalled, adding that it offered her a chance not only to work with the public but also help with particularly complicated transactions. I m a very determined person. If I don t know how to do something, I will figure it out.â¦I like challenges and I love my job.

Pulaski County Fiscal Court voted 3-1 Tuesday to start the process of purchasing the old First and Farmers branch at Grand Central Place on behalf of the county clerk s office.
The Pulaski County Clerk s Office is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds.
To close out Tuesday s meeting of Pulaski County Fiscal Court, members entered into a near half-hour executive session in part to discuss potential property acquisition.
As the court reconvened in open session, Judge-Executive Steve Kelley announced that while no action was taken behind closed doors, magistrates would be entertaining a couple of motions in public.

A man in Beavercreek, Ohio, wanted to help people through these challenging times, so he bought $4,000 in gift cards from Dunkin’ to pay for strangers’ meals.
According to store manager Samantha Owens, his gift card donation was used to pay for “food, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, you name it. It was all free.”
The man who wishes to remain nameless said he wanted to pay for everyone’s orders until the money ran out.
And, he got his wish as more than 300 customers were able to enjoy a free food order.
Samantha said the man just wanted to “pay it forward and this was his best way to pay it forward.”
