Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Before Zach Wilson was selected second overall by the New York Jets, there were questions about his character and leadership for some absurd reasons. So far with in his time with the Jets, he’s shown that he’s capable of handling leadership abilities despite being a rookie. We’ve already seen his relationship on good terms with both Elijah Moore and RB Michael Carter, but a recent social media post has shown Zach Wilson sitting alongside the rest of the Jets rookie class, building a rapport with the other members of the team. Obviously, nearly all of this means nothing in the grand scheme, and the questions regarding Wilson’s leadership skills were always overblown anyway; but it’s still nice to see happen from the outside looking in. Good morning, Gang Green Nation! The big news in the last week was the release of the NFL schedule. The fact that this qualifies as big news reveals how we are smack in the middle of the dead season for the NFL. The release of the schedule is a non-event. Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. Now that the NFL Draft is complete, it’s time to think about what remaining free agents the Jets should target prior to this season. Despite grabbing a lot of depth for the secondary in the draft, that position is still quite barren of playmakers. There’s a chance the Jets may stick with what they have, but a better route may be acquiring veteran players who can still make a difference on the field. Cornerbacks like Steve Nelson and Richard Sherman are still both available on the market, and either could make an impact on this Jets defense; albeit in different ways. Sherman can provide great leadership in a system he’s familiar with, while still playing at a great level. Nelson on the other hand is in his prime and played excellent when with the Pittsburgh Steelers the past tw
