Man United owner Avram Glazer refuses to apologise over European Super League plot, as Sky News confronts him in Florida A member of the American family that owns Manchester United has refused to apologise to fans over the disastrous attempt to form a breakaway European Super League.
Sky News US correspondent Sally Lockwood caught up with Avram Glazer in Florida and offered him the chance to address supporters concerns, saying: This an opportunity for you - an apology perhaps?
Mr Glazer was then asked if it was time for his family to sell the club, and if United fans were just customers to you .

Manchester United co-owner Avram Glazer has refused to apologise to supporters after dodging several questions fired his way when confronted by a journalist in Florida.
Sunday’s game between United and Liverpool was postponed due to protestors breaking into Old Trafford. What started as a peaceful protest was marred by some scenes of violence. United fans were protesting against the club’s owners, the Glazer family.
They have never got on well with the American owners and their dissatisfaction resurfaced when the club tried to break away into a new European Super League last month.
Joel vowed to earn back the trust of United fans in the wake of the ESL scandal, trust it has been widely pointed out that neither he nor any member of his family ever had in the first place.
When approached by Sky News reporter Sally Lockwood while seemingly out grocery shopping, Avram Glazer refused to engage at all. He remained completely silent as he returned to his car and drove away, despite being asked important questions about United fans.
Avram Glazer, part of the family that owns Manchester United, was questioned by Sky News US correspondent @sallylockwood.
“Do you have anything to say to Manchester United fans, Mr Glazer? Is it time to sell the club, Mr Glazer? Nothing to say at all?” Lockwood quizzed.
