Barry Morphew appears in court after arrest for first-degree murder
SALIDA, Colo. (KRDO) Barry Morphew appeared in a courtroom for the first time Thursday following his arrest for first-degree murder in the disappearance of his wife, Suzanne Morphew.
Morphew faces charges of first-degree murder, along with tampering with evidence and attempting to influence a public servant. He was arrested near Salida Wednesday morning, almost a year after Suzanne was reported missing.
Suzanne was first reported missing on Mother s Day in 2020. Barry claims that she went on a bike ride and never returned, and he posted a video online a week later pleading for her to return safely.
