A short time ago, the Sheriffs Department released a photo of a third person they want to talk to in the killing of steve carter. He was found shot to death monday night on a trail west of fairfax not far from sir Francis Drake boulevard. Dozens of investigators have been searching for clues in the area. The Sheriffs Department hopes surveillance camera will generate more leads. The two men and a woman are considered persons of interest in the case. Len ramirez says investigators know what happened. Reporter the excavator was apparently working at an odd angle in this residential Hillside Development when it struck the worker with a deadly blow. Fire crews were first to arrive but the worker, identified only as an hispanic man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The excavator was moving position.
