We kept hearing pop, pop. I reason over. I saw a gentlemen, adam, he got shot. I walked over. You tried to help him as much as i could. John people tried to hp the wounded taken down by someone they knew, a coworker, two walk had to the plant, and started shooting. We heard gunfire. He also opened niner parking lot of the industries after shooting random victims as he was driving to the building. This was an alarm gun. Something like an assault rifle. That was used. An officer was finally able to take him down inside of the building saving more lives. Investigators identified the shooter as 38yearold. They say he doesnt appear to have terrorist ties but they are not disclosing his motives. The plant is located in kansas, about a halfhour outside of wichita. Lawnmower products. Transformer shattered in the street. Just feet from two Canton Police officers who heard the warning signs something bad was about to happen. You heard the crack. You looked. You started, it was like slow motion and you just got out of the way. Reporter both of you at the same time . Go exactly. Reporter sargent paul and officer of the officer were on detail watching cleanup after the storm blew neighborhood and brought down power lines and two poles with it. Hours later with the officers standing feet away, a third power pole came down when workers removed a power line that was holding it up. Thank god the power was dead to it because i dont know what could have happened if it was live pour running to it but it wasnt. The power has been killed up around the corner. So we were lucky.
