Salem County music series delays season due to COVID-19

Music Around the County, is making some changes to its previously announced 2020-2021 musical season concert series due to COVID-19.
The “Golden Age of Victorian Music: A Tribute to John Philip Sousa” concert, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 6, at Salem Community College in Carneys Point has been postponed until Sunday, June 6, and will be held at Appel Farm from 6 to 8 p.m.. Woodstown High School music teacher Jim Ludlam will direct a band of local musicians who will come together for this one-time concert.
The “World Music Festival: A Japanese Garden” originally scheduled for Friday, April 9, at Salem Community College has been postponed until Friday, Oct. 1, on the college campus. The program will feature pianist Michiko Otaki and koto player Yumi Kurosawa.
