fatal shooting. two men are dead after being shot along a busy freeway and kpix 5 reporter anne makovec is in downtown oakland, where traffic was brought to a standstill this morning. anne. reporter: but the freeway is now reopened, which is very good news for the morning commute. but investigators are still trying to figure out who fired these shots because whoever did it is still on the loose this morning. check out this dramatic scene footage from last night. at about 10:30, two people died on 880 near the jackson street on-ramp here near downtown oakland. they were in this white porsche. we don t know where the shots came from but the driver died behind the wheel. the passenger was also shot. he was able to get out of the car but then he was hit by at least one other vehicle on the freeway. the chp shut down 880 until 2:30 this morning, shut down for about 3.5 hours. and the traffic overnight was awful as thousands of people were trying to leave oracle arena after the
