For the 71st year, the annual Sailor Circus holiday show will go on.
COVID-19 safety precautions for the “Season’s Greetings” show will be in place, such as limited seating, mask wearing, temperature checks and fogging to sanitize the arena between shows. The Circus Arts Conservatory also installed new ionization equipment to purify the air in Sailor Circus Arena, which underwent a $4.5 million renovation in 2019. For the first time, patrons will be able to buy virtual tickets to watch the show online.

1. Pinecraft Christmas Day Parade
One of Sarasota s most beloved events, the 25th annual Christmas Day parade is scheduled to roll through the Amish and Mennonite community of Pinecraft again this December 25th. The parade starts at 3 p.m., with participants meeting earlier at the Der Dutchman parking lot at 3713 Bahia Vista St., and then it winds through the neighborhood.
