Cruise ships may continue to delay a return to sailings, but one line is confident there is still an appetite for travel on the horizon after its flagship Around the World in 180 Days itinerary sold out in less than a day.
While the date of departure is still two years away, the Oceania Line takes it as an encouraging sign that a return to cruising is still in demand. The response to our epic 2023 around the world voyage clearly illustrates the enthusiasm that experienced travellers have for immersive and memorable travel experiences, said CEO Bob Binder in a release on Tuesday.

Kai is being added to waka sailings at Tāmaki Herenga Waka Festival for the first time to give participants a more complete experience ot Māori culture and history.
Updated: 9:23 PM EST Jan 13, 2021 Royal Caribbean announced they will be suspending all sailings through April 30.Royal Caribbean International cited the safety of their guests and crews well being as being their top priority for the continued suspension.The suspension will exclude sailings onboard the Quantum of the Seas in Singapore and the Spectrum of the Seas in China. However, sailings on the Spectrum of the Sea will be suspended from Feb. 15 through Feb. 28.Royal Caribbean said they have plans to resume further reoperations in May.The cruise industry has been planning its comeback for 2021. “It may not be back the way it was for another two years. It’s not going to come back the way it shut down,” Port Canaveral Chief Executive Officer Capt.
