NEW DELHI: An NIA court here has convicted Bahadur Ali, a Pakistani terrorist of Lashker-e-Taiba who infiltrated into Jammu & Kashmir in June 2016 with the intent to carry out terror strikes at different places, including J&K and Delhi, and sentenced him to 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment besides imposing fine.
Ali alias Saifullah Mansoor, a resident of village Jia Bagga of Pakistan’s Punjab province, had during his interrogation revealed the well-oiled machinery set up by LeT for recruiting youths in Pakistan, followed by their training with the twin objectives of radicalising their world view and providing them with military skills.
