A legal practitioner, Yakubu Eleto, has decried the continued incarceration of Alhaji Saheed Mosadoluwa Ibile, the Chairman of Harmony Gardens Estate, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State by the Nigerian police without trial. Eleto, who faulted the detention of Ibile without presenting him before a court of competent jurisdiction for trial if he had committed any offence demanded his immediate release.
Two legal practitioners, Yakubu Eleto, Esq and Shamsudeen Olaleye, Esq representing Saheed Mosadoluwa, aka Ibile, accused of being a land-grabber, have claimed that the man, Samsudeen Oluwo who was filmed in a viral video stripped naked and beaten by thugs and police orderlies for alleged land grabber is a hired assassin. In a statement jointly signed by the two legal practitioners and made available to SaharaReporters, it was alleged that Samshudeen Oluwo is a hired assassin working for Babatunde Olalere (BOG) and Murphy Adebare of Topaz Gardens.
An activist, Dr. Sandra Duru, has petitioned the office of the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, requesting that the IGP monitoring unit cancels and reinvestigates the case between Amen Estate boss, Chief Sade Balogun, Harmony Garden and Estate Development Limited boss, Saheed Mosadoluwa and one Adeyinka Igbinoba. Igbinoba had alleged that Mosadoluwa and his thugs attacked her for daring to ask him to refund N30 million collected from her siblings and about a parcel of land which was later found to be fraudulent.
The Police High Command, yesterday, promised to ensure that justice is served to the Lagos estate subscriber, who was allegedly attacked by his landlords and owners of Harmony Gardens and Estate Development Limited and Amen Estate.
