Author: Hannah Dineen (NEWS CENTER Maine) Published: 8:58 PM EDT July 3, 2021 Updated: 11:11 PM EDT July 3, 2021 LISBON, Maine A man from Massachusetts is being treated for serious injuries after a crash in Lisbon.  According to the Lisbon Police Department, just past 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, the Sagadahoc County Sheriffs Office notified officers of a pick-up truck driving erratically.  The truck was apparently, all over the road, and driving aggressively, going into the ditch, and driving around vehicles, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriffs Office. The vehicle was on Rt. 196 in Topsham, heading towards Lisbon Falls. 

Two injured in Woolwich crash

Read Article Two people were taken to a hospital following a crash on Route 1 at the Nequasset Road intersection in Woolwich Monday, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriffs Office. Lt. Brian Quinn said the crash occurred around 6:40 a.m. Allen Ponziani, 57, of Woolwich was driving on Nequasset Road and was crossing Route 1 when he allegedly drove into the path of a pickup driven by Paul Grover, 59, of Woolwich, Quinn said. Ponziani was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick and was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson. Quinn said Grover’s passenger, Heidi Grover, 54, of Woolwich was also taken to Mid Coast Hospital, was treated and released.
