Acceptable to your client if presented correctly and if it takes the boxes for them to make that decision, correct . That is true, yes. The fact that i have now been informed the unlawful retainer action is dismissed, it takes pressure off the time pressure from that standpoint. To your point earlier which i would be very cog an cognizant. Would they like to move back into that building when it is done and live like the they havr 40 years, i believe . She understands there might be because we are aware of the big picture here, substantial rehabilitation they wantheywant to have going, extrs in the garage and staircases from the top to the bottom floor so the place that we originally started when we were negotiating is that since the middle floor is already gutted, if they finish that and they dont have to put in granite countertops, but if they finish that the family would move down stairs and have the top and bottom floor unit to put the roof deck in and extra rooms in the basement an
I want to thank the panelists for your patience. Thank you for being here and being with us and were looking forward to your testimony. Rather than go through the record well start. Thank you. So first of all, id like to thank the committee for the extraordinary work that you did with all of the stakeholders to get a longterm faa reauthorization bill passed. It had been a long time since that had happened and everyone came together, and the votes that you received, we are 393 in the house and 93 in the senate. This is a clear mandate to move forward with very important safety provisions for our Aviation System. Among those was our issue of ten hours rest for Flight Attendants. Now, this is an issue of safety, health and equality. Safety, we had been raising the flag on this issue for more than 30 years, identifying Flight Attendant fatigue, getting through other faa reauthorization bills the commission of fatigue studies, seven in fact that determined that Flight Attendant fatigue does
We see decline. You can see the patches where there arent any leaves at all. That is a sign the tree is in decline. The other big challenge is the root system of the tree are aggressive and can impact nearby utilities, and we can fix the sidewalk around the tree in many cases. We dont want to cuts the roots too severely because we can destabilize the tree. In a city like San Francisco our walks are not that wide. We have had to clear the branches away from the properties. Most of th the can canopy is one street side and that is heavyweight on those branches out over the street. That can be a factor in tree limb failures. A lot of people wonder since these trees have a lot of issues. Why did we plant them in the first place . They provided the city with benefits for decades. They are big and provide storage for carbon which is important to fight Climate Change and they provide shade and really i think many people think they are a beautiful asset. When we identify trees like this for rem
This. Im looking at you gail and patricia and jim and so many other people. Jason, allen, cat, the earth his only people in this neighborhood that rise to the occasion and really help us do what we need to do to be prepared. I want to thank everyone who has joined us today. I look forward to continuing our work to be prepared for the next earthquake, and i want to thank our First Responders. I have so much respect for all of you. All of our Police Officers, all of our firefighters. What would we do without you . You are amazing. Especially here in San Francisco [applause] with that, i would like to call up San Francisco battalion chief [applause] it is dangerous to give me an open mic. I have limited time. I am a talker. It is an honor to be here today. Thirty years ago the deputy chief and myself were pro bees, we didnt even earn that status. We were in a fire academy and at 504 we were being dismissed. And in the yard, he always had to run in the yard unless you are doing a training
Time. Made a lot of friends here. Crisises part of the 2008 clean Neighborhood Park fund, and this is so important to our families. For many people who live in chinatown, this is their backyard. This is where many people come to congregate, and we are so happy to be able to deliver this project on time and under budget. A reason we all agreed to name this memorex center is because it is part of the history of i hear to name this rec center, is because it is part of the history of San Francisco. They took off from logan airport, and the call of duty was to alert American Airlines that her plane was hijacked, and she stayed on the phone prior to the crash into the no. 9 world trade center. I would like to claim today the center and the naming of it. [applause] kmer i actually challenged me to a little bit of a ping pong the mayor actually challenge me to a little bit of a ping pong, so i accept your challenge. It is an amazing spot. It is a state of the art center. Is beautiful. Quarkrig
