Bharat NCAP is expected to reveal the safety rating of the first vehicle to undergo its crash test later this week. The agency was launched earlier this year to certify safety ratings of cars made in India.
Mahindra Scorpio-N failed miserably at the crash tests conducted by Australasian NCAP returning with zero stars despite offering six airbags besides other safety features. Few months ago, the same car was awarded five-star rating by Global NCAP.
Here is a list of cars in India with the highest Global NCAP crash test safety rating of full five stars, including the newly launched Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts.
