Tata Motors recently launched Nexon facelift has earned a five-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test, scoring high in adult and child protection.
Nexon Global NCAP Crash Test: The Nexon was the first model to achieve a five star #SaferCarsForIndia rating in 2018. In 2023 the new Nexon has been updated with additional safety equipment, including six airbags and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) as standard. The new rating is valid for models produced as from August 8, 2023. Global NCAP said in a media release.
An official said these ratings will not impact the cost of vehicle. The official further said with automobiles of higher rating, the number of deaths in road accidents is likely to reduce significantly
