Police trace blind murder case

Islamabad : The Koral Police have traced a blind murder case and arrested three accused in this regard, said the police officials on Tuesday.
The police also recovered murder tool from the accused. According to the details, the brother of missing Aamir Sajjad, a resident of Tarlai Kalan, Islamabad lodged a complaint with Koral police station that his brother Atif Ali was kidnapped by some unidentified persons from the area of Koral Police station. Koral police registered a case and started investigation. On June 10, police found a body which was later identified as Atif Ali.

Police along with other law enforcement agencies rounded up more than 60 members of a banned outfit during a crackdown launched in the district, said a police spokesman on Saturday.
Attock District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani said police were fully prepared to maintain a peaceful environment in the district. He said no one will be allowed to create anarchy and challenge the writ of the state.
The official added that all efforts were being made to ensure the safety of the people and maintain law and order.

Police in the federal capital on Friday claimed to have busted a gang of criminals, apprehending its ringleader and recovered stolen cash and other valuable items from their possession.
A police spokesperson said that Inspector General (IGP) of Islamabad Police Aamir Zulfiqar Khan had directed a crackdown against street criminals. Subsequently, DIG-Operations Waqaruddin Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts to curb crime in the city. As a result, Saddar Zone SP Sarfraz Virk and Investigation SP Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted a special team under the supervision of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) DSP Hakim Khan and DSP Zulfiqar Ahmed, along with SI Zafar Iqbal, ASI Safdar, Fayyaz Ahmed, Mohsin Ali and others from the Shalimar police station.
