Were actually only in the 60s. Satellite and radar shows you that there was some shower and thunderstorm activity in central pennsylvania last night but it largely fell apart by the time it headed to the east. Now were looking at a mix of clouds and sun to start out today. We are looking at temperatures in the 60s. Were up to 68 in philadelphia, 65 in allentown 66 in wilmington and when you check out those dewpoints for the second straight morning theyre over 60 and that means somewhat humid air with that dewpoint of 64 in philadelphia. As we roll through the day a couple can of changes on the way. The first, a rise in temperature. By 8 oclock were at 70. By noon 85. And then we get a very warm high today of 88 degrees. Thats just 3 degrees off the record high for this date. But at the same time the humidity levels going to start to drop so that while it might feel a little muggy through lunchtime during the after you should feel more comfortable. For others there is nothing left to clean up. A total loss. 4,000 homes in the houston area have been damaged or destroyed. The floods are blamed for at least 16 deaths in texas and oklahoma. We say at least because the search continues for 11 people still missing. Don dahler begins our coverage. Reporter it was a sobering day for hundreds of Search Team Members as they continued to scour the riverbanks by air and by land.
