(MURFREESBORO)  Around 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning (1/30/2021), a Cessna 162 was flying between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville when they had engine trouble. It made an emergency landing in a field alongside Rucker Road.  Rutherford County Sheriff's Sgt. Bryant Gregory reported, "The Murfreesboro pilot and a passenger were flying when the plane apparently stalled and could not be restarted. Hot Call for Lawn Doctor

(MURFREESBORO)  The Lawn Doctor faced made a hot call Monday afternoon on J. D. Todd Road, that's where Rutherford County Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a truck fire.  When they arrived, the vehicle was totally engulfed in flames. In fact, the engine compartment was so intense that the temperatures destroyed the truck's body and the motor fell onto the roadway.  Crews arrived and extinguished the fire.
