Boy found dead in a courtyard, neighbors stunned. Sends a chill up my spine, thats awful. Police say it happened around 4 a. M. , the infant who lived with his family on the fourth floor of the building, here shaken. This woman says her friend told her someone in the building called 911 when she saw what listen. She was the one who called the cops and the cops asked her to do cpr and she said there was too much blood, she said i cant. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Sources say the infants mother, father, and 4 other children were in the apartment when it happened. All are now being questioned by cops. Police sources tell us they are looking into the possibility that the infant was thrown from his fourth floor apartment window or perhaps accidentally dropped while someone was handling him. I think it has to do with hitting the kids i didnt hit them over the head with right and wrong. Gosh, what else . Were you writing a different kind of book than existed in 1968, before you began writing . Well, i never thought about that, you know . I mean, i was a young woman who sat down to write books and to be as honest and truthful as i could be. I remembered very well what it was like to be in sixth grade. And that was when i started. It never occurred to me in my wildest dreams, one, that people would actually read my books or write to me about them; and twoi mean, the idea of banning a book. This is america.
