NORTH WALESÂ â Two local towns will be flying more colors than just the traditional red, white and blue soon.
Both North Wales Borough and Upper Gwynedd Township plan to fly rainbow Pride flags at their municipal buildings through June, after talks and votes by their respective elected officials last week. The question is, has the borough made any plans to raise a Pride flag at borough hall, and/or Weingartner Park? said North Wales council President Jim Sando.

UPPER GWYNEDDÂ â A hearing for a project just across the street could attract attention from Upper Gwynedd residents.
Township planning and zoning officer E. Van Rieker gave a heads-up Monday night on an upcoming hearing in Worcester Township that residents and officials may want to watch. The request is before their zoning hearing board, to permit a group home of apparently, from four to six individuals â to be detailed at their hearing â to be used as a sober house, Rieker said.

According to Rieker and meeting materials and a public notice posted by Worcester Township, the Worcester zoning hearing board will meet on April 27 to hear several applications, including one from the owners of 2816 Morris Road. That property contains an 18th century farmhouse with two outbuildings including a detached garage, with three floors, seven bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, according to the zoning board application.Â
